Give a warm welcome to all customers entering the hotel

Ensure that the reception desk and the reception area are clean and presentable at all times

Ensure that personal appearance is always of the highest standard

Reception desk to be manned by a reception team member at all times

Support the Infinity programme by asking all guests on check-in if they have a Preferred Guest Card and offering them an enrolment form if they do not
-
Check-in guests, using their name, and assist in arranging any additional services e.g. newspaper, restaurant reservations, wake up calls, etc. Also ensure that all guests are made aware of facilities available

Assist guests with any queries, concerns or complaints which they need solving. Ensure that the guest is happy with the outcome and take further steps if necessary

Check-out guests, using their name, and ensure they leave happy

In charge of all accommodation reservations of the hotel in conjunction with the Front Office Manager.

Balance all cash, credit card and DB payments at the end of each shift

Always adhere to all Group, Hotel and Departmental standards, policies and procedures

Ensure that a comprehensive handover is done with the following shift of all details which they need to be aware of

Ensure work is completed as accurately as possible to limit errors being passed onto Night Audit or accounts

To promote sound communication between Front Office and all other departments, particularly Housekeeping.
